Like in a vision,
from my sanctuary,
I see love by a fire hydrant, blasting fresh water in a scorching summer day on the streets of a megalopolis. Sunbeams kiss water drops, painting a kaleidoscope of colors in the intangible air.
Music on the streets of ancient stones, makes me dance. The smile within.
Like an oak tree, standing here in awe, awaiting the falcon to bring good news from a far away land, where peace brought mankind together and love found eternal bliss. Yearning for the moment to share with you, my friend, when the world will be one.

"Long Live Joshua Tree and The Desert" / Joshua Tree National Park Visit 2009

This is my third visit to the Joshua Tree National Park in Southern California.

This park is a unique gem of nature, where blossoming cacti and chipmunks welcomed us during the three day hiking trip we spent in the area.
Joshua Trees scattered throughout the park looked like living creatures pointing to the sky or some other interesting rocks that surrounded the park.
The rocks are natural sculptures that take the shapes of elephants, sculls, humans, and anything your imagination allows you to see.
Everything is alive in the desert.
Teddy Bears Cacti are a must see
We stayed in a beautiful home that our friends Anne found, near 29 Palms, in the middle of the desert.
Coyotes sang for us at night and a baby jack rabbit visited the morning of Easter Day. I think it's somewhere in the video, kind of dark, but still, a proof that I wasn't dreaming at 5:30am...
I highly recommend the visit to Joshua Tree National Park, but make reservations in advanced as the campground is sold out very early in the season. In fact, I hope to be back this fall, making reservation now.
